Israel. Third of citizens earns less minimum |
According to data of the Central statistical office of Israel, in 2002 about 32 % of Israelis received for the work of less minimum which then made 3,267 shekels a month. The average salary in 2002 was up to standard of 7,619 shekels a month.
The average family living in Tel Aviv, had the income in 16,239 shek./month, then goes Rishon le-Tsion - 15,281 shek./month, goes further Haifa - 15,054 shek./month. In Jerusalem the income of an average family makes 9,572 shek./month.
It is necessary to notice, that the average salary among the repatriates who have arrived to the country after 1990, makes 73 % the general average salary.
